Walking Burns!

Last night, I had decided to walk from work to the place I'm currently staying at a friend's place in Montreal. It took about an hour and a half. The best way I can describe the distance was I basically walked from the Lionel-Groulx metro station all the way down to the Plamondon metro station. Below is a picture of the Montreal's Metro System:

I wished I had thought of using my pedometer. I guess I'll bring it next time. When I told people about  my long walk, they had asked me if I was listening to any music. Surprisingly, I didn't have the need to listen to any. I loved walking down the streets to view the beautiful homes, the variety of shops and the sounds of the streets was music to my ears. I even found a liquor store to purchase some red wine.

Although my feet were starting to burn about twenty minutes before I arrived at my destination, I would gladly do it again but with better footwear!

Here are my questions for you, you and you :D
1. Do you like to walk?
2. Have you walked with friends or family?
3. Which is your preferred type of transportation around your hometown?
