Skimble Workouts

I have been a very busy bee. I just moved from Montreal Canada to Los Angeles California this week! I am loving it here. In future posts, I'll add up some photos of this beautiful area.

I don't know if you know, but I try my best to workout everyday even if it is only for 15 minutes. Here's a quick list of how I workout every 3 days:

Day 1:
-Cardio > 20 minutes > by following a dance workout DVD
Ex: Ministry of Sound's Pump It Up Ultimate Dance Workout
-More Cardio > 5 minutes of dancing to a YouTube music video
Ex: J.Lo's On The Floor

Day 2:
-Pilates and back workouts > 15 minutes
Ex: The Pilates Body Kit

Day 3:
-Strengthen Training > 20 minutes > Dumbbells for lower and upper body
Ex: Fit Deck's Dumbbell Workouts

It seems like a nicely organized workout schedule right? Well, unfortunately, I do become bored of my workouts once in awhile so I have to change up my routine. I decided to search for some fresh and new ideas when I came up with this little gem called the "Workout Trainer for Playbook." You may also download this app for your iPhone or Android phones as well here.

I wanted some workout ideas for my abs and I got a whole 15 minutes workout! It didn't even feel like a long workout. Basically, once you get started with the workout, there are a series of flash cards and a personal trainer's voice explains to you how to do them. She even counts down the last 5 seconds so that you know when the workout is about to end. A little bell rings to tell you that the position has ended and the next position is about to start.

Oh, by the way, it was a free workout! It seems as though that you have a choice to purchase a monthly workout program. But for now, I am satisfied.
